Academic Year 2013-2014

Welcome to our new course "English for Cultural Heritage"  for OBC students;

Despite the fact that our course programme includes a combination of general English and ESP English it is my firm intention to focus our attention mainly on developing the use of vocabulary connected to Cultural Heritage.

The course will cover different aspects of Cultural Heritage ranging from from institutions that represent the sector and their legislative aspects, to conservation and restoration, to archaelogy, libraries and museums.

  • UNESCO The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization

I am hoping to involve most of my students into what I call a life time opportunity: to promote Matera in any possible way giving the fact that we might stand a chance to be the European Capital of Culture.
  • MATERA 2019  short-listed for European Capital of Culture 2019
